The donation responds to the needs of the residents, who are facing a problem with elevated concentrations of uranium in their drinking water. Through this contribution, the vulnerable residents of the aforementioned municipal units are relieved, gaining immediate access to safe drinking water until a permanent solution to the problem is found.
The donation was received by the Deputy Mayor of Finance Magdalini Barba, who made the following statement: “On behalf of the Municipality of Serres, I would like to express our warmest thanks to the Law Firm ‘PKG Parìgoris & Associates’ for their invaluable contribution. At times when the local community is in need of support, solidarity and compassion prove to be decisive.”
